Intuition

This series is really important for me. Having been a graphic designer for so long, I’ve essentially spent the last 20 years lost inside of client’s briefs. In wanting to transition into making more illustration and fine art, I ran into a slight problem: wtf am I supposed to be making? What do I want to say? What’s my voice? Months of doodling and frustration led nowhere.

As always, patience and persistence are the way forward. I feel like I’ve finally made a breakthrough here. Resolving months, even years of exploration, processing various influences into something that I can identify with. I’m finally discovering what part I might have to play in humanity’s ongoing project of discovery and expression.
